Three computers are talking to one another in a sequence. Each misunderstanding and trying to repeat what the previous one has said. It’s a game of “Silent Telephone” between speech recognition engines and digital voices. As the machines repeat new alterations of the text to one another, meanings change, context gets lost and information truncates until the computers eventually fall completely silent as they lose track of the original message. A single performance could last anywhere between 10 minutes to an hour as the interaction between the players is singular in each iteration.
